Probably the most heartbreaking story I’ve ever experienced. I made a Sim, lets name him Mr. Smith, as a boy with his parents and he met a girl, we’ll call her Ms. Rain, in elementary school. Since I had on high free will, they talked for hours, even when I tried to exit their conversations, they kept on talking ‘till they were done.
Of course they grew up as teenage lovers and eventually married, Ms. Rain became Mrs. Smith and like before, whenever I tried to exit whatever they were doing together, they wouldn’t budge ‘till they were done, getting them late for work, etc.
Sad part, while Mr. Smith was at work, Mrs. Smith accidently burnt supper and it caught fire, since there was no alarm, she died, leaving Mr. Smith severly damaged.
So time went by, he remarried, had a daughter, but right after supper, everday, he’d go to her urn in the backyard and mourn her loss, even when I tried to exit it.
Being a cop and needing logic, the Science Lab or whatever offered him a choice to bring back a deceased one and of course I wanted her back so we did.
He eventually divorced his wife to be with Mrs. Smith once more, but something was different. I guess it didn’t feel right for him because he’d reject her advances and conversations until one day, he decided to go swimming.
So I let him, him and his daughter went for a bit, got up their athletic skill, but he wouldn’t get out. Now I’m panicing, I tried to exit the action but he wouldn’t move, I’m pretty sure the game was glitched but I couldn’t do anything till he died.
But that night, when his wife and daughter moved out, leaving the ghost Mrs. Rain, he revived in the night and they had this awesome longing kiss.
Seriously made me tear up, so I just left them, made other families, kept the neighbourhood.
I don’t play on that family anymore, but sometimes I see them at Crystal Lake, north of the Sunset Valley with their son, and whenever I do see them, they’re both totally enveloped with themselves, smiling on to their son.
:) My stupid glitched CD may’ve created my greatest love story in my neighbourhood.
